The maple casket we ordered was lovely, but it was supposed to be delivered to the funeral home on a Wednesday for a Thursday funeral. We got a call on Wednesday that it was "running late" and wouldn't arrive until after the funeral home closed. So it was delivered at 8am on the morning of the funeral. It worked out okay, but gave us added stress when we really didn't need any.
